Designing an Advent calendar with CEWE: Here’s how

The first step is to choose the cover photo. Pictures from past Christmases or from the winter holidays always make for suitable images. Once you’ve found a lovely picture, you can design your Advent calendar in just a few steps:

• Select an Advent calendar template
• Choose landscape or portrait orientation
• Upload the cover image and, if you wish, add text and clipart to complete the design
• Add further images if the template you’ve chosen is a photo Advent calendar with pictures behind the doors
• Check the calendar design in the product preview and submit your order.

The resolution of the images used is checked automatically: the system will notify you if the quality is not sufficient for printing. You can then replace the image with another one during the design process.

Always the right Advent calendar

To ensure not only that the design and contents are just right, but also that your homemade Advent calendar fits in the space intended for it in your home, most models are available in various sizes, as well as in landscape and portrait formats. Depending on what it’s filled with, the calendar can be up to 3.5 cm thick. The height and width of the individual models vary between 30 x 21 cm and 63 x 46 cm or 36 x 48 cm.
